Visit to a Sickle Cell Club in Delta State.

We recently visited a sickle cell club established by the government in Delta state.

It’s sad that many sickle clubs, home and warriors lack routine drugs.
.
.
A good percentage of warriors and sickle cell organisation or people with the heart for Warriors cannot afford these routine drugs these routine drugs that helps in sustenance, survival and helping to stay healthy, for some Warriors is a scarce commodity.

.
Thank God for our wonderful partners @lilyhospitals and @mel_bessie who were generous with routine drugs that we distributed to various sickle clubs and platforms.

We got these drugs in September 2018, during our Sickle Cell Month, where we did the following.

1. Free Genotype Testing (@clivehillhospital airport road)

2. We distributed drugs to warriors in need.

3. Over 20 Warriors were vaccinated against cold and pneumonia by another of our Wonderful partner @safaripharmacy

4 Massive Awareness and Educative Campaigns at Various Schools, Markets and on Radio.

We have loads of warriors in need who cannot afford routine drugs, nor eat healthy and are fully reliant on these routine drugs they get from supports or the sickle cell community or clubs.

We can do more together and save lives, put smiles and bring laughter to the thousands of Warriors around us.

The team that went for the distribution was at tears when we saw the excitement and prayers that ensued during the presentation of these drugs.
