September is International SicKle Cell Awareness Month

September is sickle cell awareness month and is celebrated all over the world by warriors and sickle cell NGOs all over, Audrey Sickle Cell Foundation is not left on this. Our core purpose of this foundation is to Advocate, create awareness, educate and support the less privilege warriors in our immediate community.

Audrey Sickle Cell Foundation (ASCF) is pioneering a coordinated effort in Warri to reach out and support Warriors in Warri and also non warriors. The vision of ASCF is to reduce Sickle Cell Disorder to its barest minimum, this means non warriors have to join in this vision.

Why ASCF strives to create supportive and enabling community for warriors, its our utmost desire that non warriors should do the following

1. know their genotype. (there is an ongoing free genotype test at Clevehill Clinic Airport Road)
2. Support warriors by showing them love
3. Stop the discrimination.

Lets make sickle cell popular and impact lives for good….. ASCF voice to the voiceless warriors.
